Bags from the past.

Because I currently don't have the time to make bags (or anything else for that matter), I thought I'd show you some bags I made a few years ago. Today it's this crooked little bag with flowers and beads.

I am...

...still here but without any inspiration. So because I don't really know what to sew, I'm tackling this ugly fake leather chair just to keep me busy.
And to keep things clear; this is the BEFORE shot. Obviously.

On saturday...

... Poppemie & I made a card.
An anniversary card.

Inspired by Delfiens beautiful illustration of a bird.(on the cardboard box)

We came to the conclusion we both like working with Ecoline paint.

And when the card was finished, Poppemie thought is was time to take a picture of her feet, instead of taking one of the card.

It was a fun afternoon though, hope yours was equally fine.

The gingham quilt.

Here are some more pictures of the quilt. It was a gift for a couple that celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary and they loved it! For the front I've used different colours of gingham fabric from secondhand shops and some ordinary cotton. The back is made out of red Polar fleece and the binding is made out of an old Ikea duvet cover.

Done.

It's finished.
Washed & dried.
Waiting for its new owners.
More pictures will follow.
Over.
.
.
And out.

Back to school.

Yesterday was the first day of school and it was great seeing everybody again! This year it's all about the sewing. I'm very eager to learn how to work with these sewing machines, because let me tell you, these babies are much different from the regular household machines I'm used to!
And to everyone who is starting school or taking a course this year: I wish you all the best, learn a lot but most importantly: have a lot of fun!
