Lierse Kampioen!

Today my hometown soccer team won the title in their division, which means next year they go back to first division. Although I'm not really a soccer fan myself, my brother is, and he wanted his two little girls to be part of the festivities. So before the (drunk) crowd took over the city we went to take a look. The twins looked so cool in their champion outfits!

Congrats to 'De Lierse'!

Kicked him in the penith.

There is still some work on his articulation, but this kid is so darn cute.

More.

Remember these ones? Yesterday I received even more fabric sample books, this time from here.
The books are all from Marie's Corner.
Beautiful right?

Ruffles galore!

The previous project wasn't going that well. So I put that on hold & started a new one.
That has turned into this:

A bright pink canvas ruffled bag.
Unlike the outside, no frills on the inside: just one zippered pocket and that's it.
The fabric was originally a plain white cotton, which I hand dyed & it came from here.

The next thing on the agenda is a new bag for my aunt. Though that is definitely going to take a while, because I have no inspiration what so ever. It needs to be a messenger style bag, with lots of pockets. Does anyone know a great pattern?

Update.

Since the lovely Eloleo posted her finished bag on her blog, The Tatanne Bag pattern became quite popular.
Therefore I had to make a few changes.
You can find everything relating the Tatanne Bag at the PATTERN page at the top of my blog.
I'm truly sorry for the failed downloads and delays.
I hope everything is OK now, if there is still a problem please let me now.

Me = Happy.

When I opened my blog-account this morning I saw this in my reading list:
The first Tatanne Bag made with the pattern! The talented Eloleo was the brave pioneer who made the bag & I think it looks fabulous!
Eloleo is a true celebrity in the Blogworld and many people followed the link to the pattern download page. Apparently too many people: the daily bandwidth is exceeded and that means no downloading anymore today. So I'm truly sorry if the pattern wasn't accessible, please be patient and try again at a later time.

I leave you with a glimpse of a new bag I made this week, more about that tomorrow. Have a great Saturday evening!

Camera bag.

I'm working on a new bag & it's not going as expected.
It started of well, but now that it's almost finished, I'm stuck.
So for now, this sneak peek of the bag is all you're going to get, until I figure out what to do with it:
...finish it.
... start over again.
...choose another fabric.
...change the pattern.
...burn it.

A fine day II

Celebrating Easter, together with my family & Betje Big.

Bags from the past VI.

No inspiration here today, so just a bag from the past.
A toiletry case I made a few years back.

Small difference.

No Easter Bunny here.
We've got an Easter Penguin!
